Malaysia: Police and Big Pharma Conduct Secret Raids on Local Vape Shops

In an article posted by Vaping Post, we discover disturbing information from the International Network of Nicotine Consumer Organisations (INNCO). Vaping Post goes on to say that a secret raid, conducted by Law Enforcement with the support of Big Pharma took place today, which resulted in the confiscation of nicotine e-liquids and customer receipts.

Take a look at the Vaping Post article here.

My Thoughts

I don’t think it is a coincidence this raid comes into light not long after an elderly couple was arrested and fined for vaping in Thailand (Check that story out here). I think this is a horrible act of violence against the Vaping Community. The smokey, cold grip of death from the tobacco company is plain as day in this situation. I don’t have enough information to give any meaningful thoughts here but, at first glance, it looks like the tobacco center of the world is fighting against the vaping movement. They are afraid of losing their precious revenue to the new and healthier vaping industry.

CANADA: National Non-Smoking Week

Will Canada Lift the Ban on Vaping?

“MONTREAL, Jan. 22, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ – As the country marks National Non-Smoking Week, Imperial Tobacco Canada believes that by embracing the principles of harm reduction, Health Canada can allow smokers to choose other alternatives, such as vaping products and tobacco heating products, and achieve the goal of reducing Canada’s smoking rate to less than five percent ahead of the target date of 2035.” –

My Thoughts

It looks like the tobacco giant of Canada is making a play that will help thousands of Canadians become ex-smokers by switching to vaping. I think this is a move in the right direction. With recent vape study results showing how vaping is significantly better than smoking. An article from called, Tobacco smokers could gain 86 million years of life if they switch to vaping, study finds, shows us that switching to vaping has life gains beyond our imagination.

Vape Abuse: How Far are Government Officials Willing to Go?

Hello Vapers!

Today’s Vape News topic is an article I found that talks about how the push for Tobacco21 in Idaho is drowning in “unsubstantiated claims” (Steve B. 2018. Tobacco 21 Advocates Are Pushing The Debunked ‘Gateway’ Vaping Narrative). Check out the article here.

My Thoughts

This article does an excellent job debunking the words spoken by supporters of the Tobacco21 agenda. It is clear those fans want to lump vaping into the same pile of feces as tobacco and call it a ‘Gateway’ to cigarettes for the youth. Frankly, I am tired of hearing the ‘Gateway’ excuse. It is the same excuse in use today when like-minded people talk poorly about cannabis.  Anytime I hear ‘Gateway’ I die a little inside because I know the person saying those words is severely uneducated on the topic.

In closing, I want to make it clear that I do support increasing the legal age of tobacco products so the young cannot make the purchases. Let us be ‘real’ for a moment and recognize that no matter what age is the ‘legal’ age, our young will still be able to get hands-on through other means. Perhaps conversations need to happen with the adults living around the young people who have decided to smoke or vape. Let us not push the burden of responsibility on anyone other than the adults who are supposed to be responsible, especially with children.

UK based Quit4life poised to change the course of vaping history?

I was reading an article I found at “UKVIA calls for TPD repeal, while USA publishes fire statistics” (Mason, F. 2018), where I saw pro-vaping groups are trying to make a change in the tobacco product derivative. Groups like The UK Vaping Industry Association are pushing for change in areas like the high nicotine strength e-liquids ban. A ban that does not allow people using vaping to quit smoking to purchase the correct nicotine strength.

Another outstanding group making a change in the UK is Quit4life. The article talks about Quit4life offering a £25 voucher to help with the purchase of a starter kit. Check out the full story here.

my thoughts

I believe the UK is in a unique position when it comes to the vaping industry. As more studies come in showing how much better vaping is in comparison to smoking: we begin to hear more voices in support of vaping used as a smoking cessation strategy. If used correctly, vaping will be found to be the BEST strategy to quit smoking. Check out my article to find out how you or a loved one can make the switch to vaping.

What do you think? Do you think the UK is on the right track? Or do you believe they should be doing something else to help people quit smoking tobacco?

Legal Cannabis in New Jersey?

Legal Cannabis in New Jersey? Hey New Jersey, hear that knock on your door? It’s opportunity, so you may want to open up!

Gov.-elect Phil Murphy will be assuming his position as the new Governor of New Jersey this month. During his campaign, Phil Murphy promised to sign legislation to legalize Cannabis within the first one hundred days he is in office.

“The governor-elect said he will sign legislation to legalize pot when it hits his desk. He already has a plan to tax the sale of marijuana, which his campaign estimates will generate about $300 million for the state’s coffers each year. But Murphy said that’s not the reason to legalize marijuana. Murphy has said he sees legalization as a solution to a social injustice and the imbalance in incarceration and conviction rates. “If it doesn’t pass the social justice test, you can’t talk about revenue implications, and the fact of the matter is that we have the widest white-nonwhite gap of persons incarcerated in New Jersey,” he said.” – NJ.COM

“Candidates across the country should take notice, as Phil Murphy won the Governor’s seat soundly because of, not in spite of, his open and vocal support for legalizing marijuana – a position supported by 65% of New Jersey voters and 64% of Americans nationwide,” said NORML Executive Director Erik Altieri, “NORML looks forward to working with Governor-Elect Murphy and other stakeholders in the state to end the disastrous policy of marijuana prohibition and to implement the moral, economic, and scientifically sound policy of legalization and regulation in the Garden State.” –NORML

What does this mean for new jerseans?

Well, if you are planning on consuming cannabis you should definately look into using a Vaporizer. A good vape that handles loose leaf (ground up buds) will go a long way towards getting the most out of your bud and it is a healthier alternative to using a pipe or smoking it in paper, or a tobacco leaf – gross.

VaporNation is an excellent place to buy high quality vaporizers like the G-Pen Elite. The G-Pen Elite has been newly redisgned and continues to be the best hand-held low profile vaporizer on the market. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

My Thoughts

Legalization of Cannabis is, in my opinion, a step in the right direction for New Jersey. I also believe the neighboring states should keep an eye on how New Jersey implements their plan for legalization, so they too can jump on the “Canna-Wagon” and start chipping away at state level debt.

Your Thoughts

What do YOU think about New Jersey’s future with legal cannabis? Do you think it’s the right move? Or do you think they are making a bad decsion?
